The Lost & Found evolved within the home and workplace of the Late Miss Watson, an imagined Victorian botanist.

The 1869 building on Bennett’s Hill, now Grade II listed evolved into a fantasy interior pub with canopies of plants, lit birdcages and captured butterflies, all references to the plants, flowers and creatures that Professor Watson had discovered and kept hidden within the secret rooms of the building.

The space is divided into several different areas: a botanical library, boardroom, dining room, bar, “secret emporium”, and an “Institute of Botanics.”

The Lost & Found was chosen as the best designed “standalone bar” in the 2013 Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.
